Anthony Garner (ANT) was born in 1968 in Hereford, England. He grew up near Reading where he studied graphic design at Berkshire College of Art. He worked as a copywriter at the advertising agency Young & Rubicam, London from 1988 to 1992. The following year he moved to Barcelona and soon after, he began collaborating as the Cartoonist for the ECO newspaper. Since then, he has collaborated as an illustrator in the press, editorials, advertising, television and theater in Catalonia, Spain and abroad, with clients, among others: Private Eye (UK), The New Statesman (UK), The New York Observer , Greenpeace, Ara, El País, El Periódico de Catalunya, El Economista, El Mundo Deportivo, Punch (UK), Z Magazine (USA), TV3, France 24 TV and La Fura dels Baus. He has illustrated over 20 books (adult and children's) for various publishers. He often participates in television programs drawing caricatures live, especially for "Els Matins" on TV3. His illustrations have been selected for numerous exhibitions in Spain and abroad. To complement his work, he is also often hired to draw quick caricatures for all kinds of events in many places around the world. He is representative for the United Kingdom of United Sketches for Freedom.Read more
