Journalist, satirical-humorist, historian of caricature, director of the Galantara Study Center, he also directed, from 1991 to 2003, the Biennial of Humor and the Museum of Caricature of Tolentino, with important international exhibitions (New York, Avignon, Spoleto ), and various catalogs and books (Scalarini's satire, humorist Fellini, Carabinieri in humor, La Civiltà del Sorriso…). Editor and collaborator of historical newspapers such as Marc’Aurelio, Travaso, Satyricon di Repubblica, Quotidiano di Puglia, Galatino, Corriere Canadese, he still publishes in various periodicals and magazines, including Gnosis, the Carabiniere, Il filo di Aracne. The awards for his artistic activity include the Lifetime Achievement Maglio Award (2015), the Golden Valentine (1985), the Council of Europe Prize awarded to him at the Berlin State Library (1983), and the Plaque of the President of the Republic for cultural merits.Read more
