I work mostly as a Caricature artist but move away from a traditional style of Caricature art. I love interpreting the world around me into abstract and sci-fi story-telling illustrations/caricatures. I am one of many artists that stands on the shoulders of giants so I have so many artists to thank. It’s a scary thing to put your work out there and see how the world will respond to your work. However, you quickly realize there is an audience out there for your style of work. The lessons I’ve learned over the years is to be authentic with my artwork. I try not to imitate another artist or hide who I am in my artwork. I’ve come to love creating what comes naturally to me. As a result I began to build an audience. If you try to speak to everyone you speak to no-one. You can only speak to those who are just like you. People are looking for the real you and someone to relate to. The beginning of it all was not easy. My story is not an uncommon story of someone who was a dreamer. I had a goal to be an artist and I knew God had intended for me to be just that. The biggest challenge was not the negative comments from others but myself. We are our own worst enemies. I had to push myself when things got hard. If you concentrate on your dreams and goals then all other obstacles disappear.Read more
